Meet Natalie
I work with adults, teens, and children who are facing overwhelming emotions and feel unsure how to understand or express what they are experiencing. Many are navigating anxiety, grief, identity questions, or challenges in how they relate to themselves and others.
My work focuses on helping clients slow down, develop emotional awareness, and build steadiness in how they relate to themselves and those around them. Together, we work on noticing emotions, putting language to experience, and learning how to respond with clarity and care rather than urgency or self-judgment. The process is thoughtful and paced, grounded in the belief that emotional awareness and regulation are skills that can be learned over time.
After over ten years of experience as a school counselor, I am deeply familiar with the complexities that arise within individuals and families. My approach is relational, attuned, and steady, with an emphasis on creating safety and trust as the foundation for growth. I work with children, teens, and adults, supporting each person through this process in ways that honor their lived experience and support meaningful, sustainable change.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University, a master’s degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and a post-master’s certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Butler University. Outside of therapy, I enjoy running, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

You may find yourself:
- You or your child feel overwhelmed by emotions and are not always sure how to name or express them
- Big feelings tend to show up as shutdown, irritability, anxiety, or emotional distance
- You learned early on to manage things on your own, even when you needed support
- You want therapy to feel collaborative, calm, and grounded rather than intense or pressured
- You are looking for a space where emotional understanding is built slowly and safely
What You Can Expect From Me:
In our work together, you can expect a space that is calm, welcoming, and supportive. I meet clients where they are emotionally, developmentally, and relationally, and we move at a pace that feels respectful and manageable.
Whether I am working with a child, teen, adult, or family, my goal is to help you feel safe enough to open up, supported enough to explore what you are experiencing, and more confident in your ability to understand and care for yourself or your relationships.
